HeatWiki has just begun and we really need your contributions. There are a few article creation and linking guidelines that may need some tweaking as we go along:

Recipes

First, any recipe article should follow this format: [Food Product] Recipe, so that articles about the food can be distinguished from recipes for it. Any food article should contain a "Recipe" subsection with links to the recipe pages.

Generally, all recipes of a certain dish should be on one page under a subsection that distinguishes the recipe. In the links section, please put any related recipes. Feel free to add a section for wine or other drink recommendations and one for suggestions for what to serve with the recipe, linking to other recipes where appropriate.

Articles on peppers should contain links to recipes using the pepper. The same goes for products like hot sauces and the like.

Articles on products may contain recipes using the product and we encourage recommendations to use with food.

Promoting Your Product

If you are putting an article on this site about your spicy product, do not, under any circumstances, compare your product to any other specific product. If you do, the reference will be deleted and your article will be removed or locked at the Sysop's discretion.

Review Articles

Finally, you may create a Review article where you review a product, suchs as Reviews of "Colibri Pepper Sauce." However, you must label the review subsection using your name. Other reviews may be added to the same article under a different subsection, with each review labeled as "John Smith's Review," etc.
